I finished this modern take of the traditional Wagga Quilt/blanket.. It is made of denim from old jeans with some feature fabrics added. I have also appliqued old surf design labels - these had been taken from old clothes - goes to show if you keep things long enough, they will be used eventually!!!

SWAP
These are from the May swap - I received my parcel from USA last Friday - either 'better late than never' or 'good things come to those who wait', or perhaps both! I have added a close-up pic of the quilting on Ann's wall hanging - very different, looks great!

Wallet
I made this wallet for the bag raffle at our quilt show in July. It was quite a challenge - happy with the result, although it maybe a 'one off'.

6,020 LATER
My 1/2" hexies finished - well maybe. I have quilted this by hand and have done enough to enable me to finish it for our upcoming quilt show. I may, at some stage, do more quilting on it. I am happy the way it is. Need to add a hanging sleeve and its label. I pieced the large hexies for backing.

THE SWAP
At Queensland Quilters Picnic in Rosewood last week, there was a swap of a dilly bag. I did one with 3D flowers from a design by Leesa Chandler. The one I received in the swap was a bag made with four outside pockets, each with a Japanese kimono appliqued on it. By chance, this was made by one of my sisters! I couldn't believe it, out of all the bags (and there were many), I got this one. Will treasure it!

SCRAP TECHNIQUES WORKSHOP
I have put together some pieces we did at the workshop and added the applique. Perhaps it will be the start of a quilt - perhaps????

HEXIES
I have finished the top of my hexies quilt - 6,020 in all. Now to add a small border to applique them on to and then quilt and finish it. They are half inch hexies with many being fussy cut - lots of fun finding cats, dogs, etc. It measures 65 x 61 inches.
