HEXIES

I have finished the top of my hexies quilt - 6,020 in all.  Now to add a small border to applique them on to and then quilt and finish it.  They are half inch hexies with many being fussy cut - lots of fun finding cats, dogs, etc.  It measures 65 x 61 inches.

I have reached the next milestone - 4,000  ...  actually 4,144.   It measures 51"x53".

SWAP

These are pics of the January mug rug swap with Quilting Gallery. The first one is what I received, the second and third ones are what I sent (mug rugs, wrist pin cushion and a copy of Homespun magazine where my project was published). My swap partner lived not far from Boston, USA.

KOALA MITTENS

I made these mittens for the koalas that were victims of the recent bush fires.  Will put them in the post tomorrow.  You might recognise the tapes Diane - you gave me this when that well known men's wear store closed, put to good use.

BAGS

I have had fun making these small (and not so small) bags - having a rest from my 1/2 inch hexies (now have over 3,000 joined together).

December Update

Finally finished making the three

projects I purchased at the craft show back in October.  The angel postcard was made for the CQs Christmas swap.
